Karima Boutaleb was born in Champigny Sur Marne, France in 1979. From a very early age she exhibited grand interest in visual art.

From 2006 to 2010 Boutaleb worked as a Curator in Centro Abreu in the Dominican Republic.

In 2010, she presented her first individual exhibition in Centro Abreu titled "The resistance", an exhibition that was regarded as innovative and fresh by art experts through-out the world.
